Winners of the ASEAN Impact Challenge, a regional program designed to discover innovators from Southeast Asia who are accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), were announced before the closing of the first day the three-day ASEAN Business & Investment Summit Sunday The challenge aims find winning innovators who are able to achieve the UN SDGs through cross-sector partnerships and disruptive innovations while presenting opportunities to identify and strengthen innovations with proven impact and to achieve select outcomes around the SDGs. Every year, a thematic area of focus forms the challenge call. The challenge targets investors, businesses seeking disruptive innovations, public sector officials, development agency officials, innovators, and business owners seeking regional partnerships. It was organized by Impact Hub Kuala Lumpur. Impact Hubs are where change goes to work. Part innovation lab, part business incubator and part community center, it offers members a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration and collaboration opportunities to grow impact. It believes that a better world evolves through the combined accomplishments of creative, committed and compassionate individuals focused on a common purpose.
